Bacon, Mary Lou
Mary Lou Bacon (nee Meredith), of Durham, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Durham, on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bacon. Loving mother of Chris and her husband Jeff Flanagan of Durham, and John Bacon and his friend Isabelle of Mississauga. Sadly missed by her twin sister Anne Jefford and her husband Art, siblings Colleen Rivers (the late Don), Patty Hetherington (the late Robert) and Donna and her husband Allan Brooks. Mary Lou was the Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 308.
Celebration of Life::
Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, on Friday, June 8th from 7-9 p.m., and at the Durham Legion on Saturday, June 9th from 12-12:45 p.m. where a funeral service celebrating Mary Lou’s life will be held at 1 p.m., beginning with a service held by members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 308.
