It is with profound sadness that the family of Autumn Miranda Andy-Cheena 15, announce her tragic death on Wednesday June 13, 2018. Autumn was born June 23, 2002 at La Verendrye Riverside Hospital, Fort Frances, Ontario. Autumn is survived by her mother, Angeline Lynn Andy, baby sister, Alaina-Marie Lynn Andy, her father, Thomas Jefferson Cheena, Grandmother Bella Andy (William Morrison), Uncle Bob Kirkrude (Andy) & his wife Pamela Ross, Auntie Teresa Andy (Tim Archie), Auntie Georgina Andy (Greg Owl), Uncle Phillip Andy, and many cousins, some of whom were like a sister to Autumn. Autumn loved the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, boating, hiking, swimming, tubing, snow machining, quading, fishing all year round, listening to music, spending time with family & friends. Autumn was predeceased by maternal grandfather, James Andy, and paternal grandfather Thomas Indian. A traditional wake will commence Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Big Grassy River First Nation Community Hall. Service will follow Friday, June 22, 2018 at 9:00 am at the Big Grassy River First Nation Community Hall. Pallbearers are William Morrison, Dennis Richard Copenace, Justin James Copenace, Peter Ian Copenace, Glenn Archie, and Tyson Penner.
