Obituary of Augusta « Gus » Spalla
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa on Sunday December 2, 2018. Gus Spalla, just shy of his 86thbirthday, spent much of his time in Norwood. He was a proud member of the Norwood Legion, he enjoyed playing darts, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, and he loved to dance! Beloved husband of Gerda and the late Jerry (Isobel). Loved and missed by his children Julie Anderson (David), Lorraine Peckett (Richard) and Katherine Spalla, always remembered by his grandchildren Michael, Amanda, Lindsay, David, Shelli, Keb, Justin and Jordan, niece Cindy and nephew Terry, and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Ethel, and sisters Rosemarie and Carol. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment.
