Obituary of Aubrey Rhodenizer
RHODENIZER, Aubrey James – Age 78, Cookville, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, where he had been residing. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late James and Marion (Beeler) Rhodenizer. Aubrey was an outdoorsman and loved to moose hunt and fly fish for salmon.
Surviving are his wife, Faye (Mailman), Cookville; sons, Grant (Renee) Rhodenizer, Truro; Scott Rhodenizer (Michaela Stupkova), Palm Beach, Fla.; Brent Rhodenizer (Wanda Janes), Branch LaHave; Chris Rhodenizer (Christine Hughes), New Ross; Brad (Ruth) Rhodenizer, Edmonton; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Justin, Colby, Courtney, Tristan and Lucca; sisters, Linda Corkum, Fancy Lake; Fay Slauenwhite, Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Gloria Magahay and a sister in infancy.
Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 6 with funeral service at 11 a.m. Father Jim O’Connor officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to Rosedale Home for Special Care or charity of choice.
