Arthur Swyers
May 12, 1938 – April 19, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Swyers, announces his passing at Western Memorial Hospital on April 19th, 2018, at the age of 79 .
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Doreen Swyers (new Muise).
Five children, Bruce Swyers (deceased) Kellie Joyce, Anthony Swyers (Wendy) Dee Swyers , Sheri LaSaga (Leo)
Ten Grandchildren, Angel Atkinson (Rob) Lucien Swyers, Alexander Stalker, Sarah Harvey, Katrina LaSaga, Donavan Lucas-Swyers, Alyssa Harvey, Idamae Joyce, Dalton Lucas-Swyers, Dawson Lucas-Swyers.
Three Great-Grandchildren, Malachi Atkinson, Dean Stalker, Arelie Atkinson.
He was predeceased by his father Arthur Redmund Swyers (Sr.) His Mother Angela Swyers (Benes) (Garnier) Son Bruce Andrew Swyers, Brother Robert Swyers, two Sisters Laverne and Lorraine also numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday April 22nd , 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville.
The Funeral will take place on Monday April 23rd, 2018 at 2pm at St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street. With interment at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
