Arnulfo « Arnold » Villanueva
1966-2018
Villanueva, Arnulfo « Arnold », 51, Truro,
passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 11, 2017 in the Colchester
East Hants Health Centre, with his family by his side. Arnold was born
on February 10, 1966 in Marinduque, Philippines. He graduated from
University of Santo Thomas, Manila, with a degree in Pharmacy. He
moved to Truro to be with his family in 2011.
He is survived by his wife Yvette; son Aldrin (Pat); mother
Cristeta; stepdad Isabelo; Auntie Rosalina; siblings Julio Jr (Janet),
Annabelle (Leo), Flordeliza (Edwin), Mike (Shey), Renan (Elaine);
Uncles, Aunts, Nephews and Nieces.
He was predeceased by his father Julio.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall-Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro from where funeral service will
take place on Saturday, January 20th at 6 pm.
Father Dariusz Miskowicz will officiate with a reception to follow in
the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in the
Philippines. Webcasting will commence at 5:55 pm. Donations in memory
may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of CEHHC, Truro. The family
would like to thank Dr. Ryve Loshaj, Dr. Courtney Smith, Dr. John
Henderson, Dr. Stephanie Snow, Palliative Team, Nurses and staff of
CEHHC, also the nurses of VON, for their care and dedication over the
past three years. Special gratitude to his Truro family and the
