Peacefully, December 30, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury
Dear son of Herbert and Della Furlong both predeceased. Loving husband of Gertrude Furlong (nee Maisonneuve). Wonderful father of Linda, Janet, and Brenda. Cherished grandfather of Jeff Lalonde (wife Rhonda), Christopher (wife Jenna), and Kylie Fournier (husband Curtis Dever) and great-grandfather of Makenzie, Jordan, Kaylie and a fourth baby on the way. Beloved brother of Audrey Gervais (husband Charlie predeceased), Aileen Charron (husband Lucien) both predeceased and Charlie Bush (wife Aline) both predeceased.
Arnold (Bud) loved his wife and girls to the fullest. He cherished his grandkids and great-grandchildren. Bud made sure his family had everything before himself. He enjoyed his evening bike rides around the neighbourhood; making conversation with everyone he met. No matter where Bud went he put smiles on everyone’s face. Bud loved to fish and hunt. He was a diehard Montreal Canadiens fan and had an obsession with his well-manicured lawn. He never missed an outing, from watching the grandchildren to his great-grandchildren.
