Armstrong, Erma May (nee Elfner) passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, on Monday March 23, 2015 at the age of 87.
Erma Armstrong wife of the late Joseph Armstrong. Survived by her children Lynda (Keith) Tanner, Reg (Debbie) Armstrong, Brenda (Gord) Winger and Lorie Armstrong, daughter-in-law Margaret Lepka and son-in-law Brian McIntee. Predeceased by her children Wayne, Jimmy, Peggy McIntee and Baby Mary, her Parents Charles and Muriel Elfner, her Brother Geordie, Sisters-in-law Leona Brown, Marie McKenzie and Brothers-in-law Bruce Sherk, Roy McKenzie, Bob Brown, Jim (Violet) Armstrong and Ken Armstrong. Lovingly remembered by10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving siblings Inez Sherk, Eunice (Bill) Mageran, Ray (Jeannine) Elfner, Gertrude Elfner and Marlene (Gary) Grant and Sister-in-law to Arnold(Pat) Armstrong and Sheila Frank.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation or The Salvation Army would be appreciated. Cremation followed by a private family service was held at Riverside Cemetery,Dunnville. Our Mother was very strong and as solid as a rock and while we will miss her dearly we take comfort in knowing she has joined her family in heaven. Thank you Mom for giving us life and making us the people we are today. All our Love and xx’s, Lynda, Reg, Brenda and Lorie.
