Armien Sommerfeld
Armien passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday March 16, 2018 in Shellbrook, SK at the age of 81 years. Armien will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Debbie (Larry) Bergen and family Ashley (Shane) Doell and children Easton and Everly, and Brooks Kendel; Jackie Sommerfeld (Dean Grimsrud); Tammy (Kyle) Soderberg and son Drew Soderberg; his brother Alfred (Maureen) Sommerfeld and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Armien was predeceased by his wife Shirley Sommerfeld, parents Emma & Ludwig Sommerfeld, brothers Max (Waltrout) Benke, and Edwin (Rita) Sommerfeld, sisters Irma (Otto) Sommerfeld, Irene (Martin) Steinhilber, infant sisters Brunhilda and Linda, parents in law Arnold & Agnes Stene. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday March 23, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Shellbrook, SK with Pastor Emmanuel Aristide officiating. Interment will follow at the Shellbrook Cemetery. Memorial donations in Armien’s memory may be directed to the Shellbrook Skating Rink.
