Archie Scott passed away On June 19, 2018 in his residence in Whitedog. He was born October 26, 1958 in Whitedog, Ontario.
Archie was predeceased by, his parents Archie Quewezance, Victoria Scott, children Norman Smith and Adrianna Smith, siblings Norman Scott, Joni Yellowhead, Bernice Scott, John Paul Scott, Patrick Joseph Scott, and Auntie Marie S, grandparents Robert Scott, Gertie Scott, John Quewezance and Mary Quewezance, uncles John Quewezance, Robert Quewezance, Paul Scott, Eddy Scott, Percy Scott, Peter Scott and William.
He will be missed by his sister Mary Jane Scott (Daniel Neapetung), Flora Scott, Alison Hood (Brian Land), Jeff Yellowhead, his children, Norman Archie Scott, Serena Smith, Miranda Smith and Bianca, aunt Mary Terressa Bunting, (George Bunting) and Barbara Scott, grandchildren Janet Smith, Nathan Boyd, Billy Boyd, Faith Smith and Houson Smith and two great grandchildren numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Growing up as a young child he enjoyed playing hockey, sliding, blueberry picking, spending time with his parents, hauling water with his mother so she could hand wash clothes for the family. Archie had a good sense of humour, he liked to laugh and joke around while spending time with family and friends.
He enjoyed fishing, was a guide for all of the lodges in the surrounding area. He was a hard worker cutting wood for the community, throughout his life and he accomplished many things. He had a great passion for fishing both professional and recreational.
Wake Services to be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Whitedog Community Hall. Funeral Services to be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Whitedog Community Hall at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Whitedog First Nation Cemetery.
