PALADINO, Antonio ‘Tony’ – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday September 1, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Lucia Paladino (2014). Dearly loved father of Pat (Lynn) Paladino, Mary (Louie) Muraco and Anna Paladino. Cherished Upa of Michael and Jessica Paladino and Anthony Muraco (Victoria Banach). Dear brother of Angelo (Livia) Paladino, Assunta (Luigi) Marinaro, Lucia (Angelo) Marinaro, Mario (Maria) Paladino, Vincenzo (Dorina) Paladino, Domenic (Anna) Paladino and Flavio (Helle) Paladino and brother-in-law of Maria Zeffiro, Vince (Anna) Zeffiro, Ralph Zeffiro and Lucia Paladino. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Italy. Predeceased by his brothers Gerry Paladino and his wife Philomena and Teodoro Paladino. Tony came to Canada in 1956 , married his beloved wife immediately and began their family. He worked very hard and his mission in life was to make sure his children, of whom he was very proud, had an education and found work that they loved. Special thanks to his personal support workers, Felipa and Brenda for the wonderful care and compassion they showed him during the past nine years. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 3:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 pm at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
