Antonio (Tony) Felice Vecchiato
January 8, 1971 ~ November 16, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Antonio (Tony) Felice Vecchiato.
Born January 8, 1971 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC.
Tony passed away at the age of 47, on Friday November 16, 2018 in Coquitlam, BC after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Tony is survived by his wife Tracey, son Brayden, Step-son Trevor Tunn (Sabrina), Step-daughter Courtney Smith (Derek); Parents Grace and Aldo Vecchiato; Sisters Anna O’Leary (Kevin, Shawn & Stephanie), Rosa Vecchiato (Vanessa, Anthony, Matthew, James & Nathan), Lisa Stifani (Maria, Sophia, Antonio);
Mother-in-law Arlene Neely; Brother-in-law Greg Nielsen (Isobel); 3 grandchildren Lyla and Zoe Tunn and Easton Smith; his faithful dog Vinnie and countless family and friends.
Tony was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We shall miss his unique sense of humor, his sarcastic, cheeky remarks, and his undying support of the San Francisco 49er’s…and his unwavering dream that the Canucks will someday win the Stanley Cup!! Say hi to Elvis for us!! We will love you and keep you in our hearts forever!!
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday December 2, 2018 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at
1320 Johnson Street, Coquitlam BC (Corner of Johnson & Delahaye) from 2:00pm – 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
We welcome anyone who would like to say a few words at this Celebration of Life to please do so.
