87 Years. Died peacefully on March 6, 2018 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus. Beloved husband of 57 years to Grazia (nee Beddia). Loving father of Ninetta Farrugia of LaSalle, Tanino Scalia and his wife Christine, Giuseppe Scalia and his wife Sherri. cherished Nonno to Corey, Christine, Michael (Nicole), Antonino, Gia, Jade, Giuliano & Grace. Dear brother of the late Giuseppe and his late wife Giovanna, Domenica and her late husband Giuseppe Caruana of Toronto, Giuseppina and her husband Vincenzo Milioto of Montreal, late Nona and her late husband Giuseppe Tortorici, Vito and his wife Serafina, Rosina and her husband Luciano Como. Dear brother-in-law of Paolo and his wife Marianna Iacono, Leonardo and his wife Antonina Beddia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Scalia was a member to the Caboto Club and committe member of the St. Jospeph’s Organization at St. Angela Merici Church. In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation as your expression of sympathy. Visiting at Janisse Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, (519-253-5225) on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday, March 9, 2018 from 2 – 5; 7 – 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. then to St. Angela Merici Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
