Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on July 20, 2018 at the age of 59; Anthony Joseph McCarthy, formerly of Mount Carmel, NL. Leaving behind his soul mate, Rowena Kelloway; sisters and brothers, Abrose (Trudy), Donna (Stephen), Bridget, Mary (Conrad), Gaile and Gary (Janette); Nan Kelloway (Rowena’s Mom); Rowena’s sisters, Brenda (Randy), Donna (Kevin), Olive-deceased (Edgar); step-father, Lorne; many nieces and nephews all of whom he loved dearly; his little canine buddy, Bailey whom he also loved dearly and a large circle of other family and friends, especially Ruth, Wilf, Janie, Bob and Wink. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, St. John`s, NL on Monday and Tuesday from 12-9pm and at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mount Carmel, NL on Wednesday from 4-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mount Carmel, NL followed by inurnment at the church cemetery. No flowers by request, however donations in Anthony`s memory may be made to the ALS Society of NL.
