Obituary of Annie Campbell
CAMPBELL, Annie Jane -91, of West Branch, Pictou County, passed away Saturday August 25, 2018 in the Palliative Care Unit of Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in West Branch on October 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Hugh A. and Margaret (Murray) MacLean. Ann was a hardworking woman who dedicated her life to her family and family farm. She loved her animals, especially her cat (Kitten), gardening, baking, and knitting. She especially loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was dedicated to the community and the West Branch United Church. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alexander Murray Campbell, and a brother in infancy. She is survived by daughter, Shirley (Rick) Johnson, Scotch Hill; son, Malcolm (Shelley) Campbell, West Branch; grandson, Sandy (Samantha) Johnson, Bayview; granddaughter, Jenna (Jordan Morris) Johnson, Haliburton; great grandchildren, Bellamy Morris, Haliburton and Liam Johnson, Bayview. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 2:30 PM Friday from West Branch United Church, with Rev. Chesley Boutilier officiating. Interment will be in West Branch Cemetery and a reception will follow in the community hall. Family flowers only please.
