Annie Norris
1925-2018
It is with sad hearts and a lifetime of memories that we can say
goodbye to our precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
sister, aunt and friend, Annie Norris, who passed away peacefully at
the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican, NL on Thursday,
November 15, 2018. Predeceased by her husband, Levi George Norris
(1994); son, David (1946); her precious grandson, Kurtis Blundon
(2016); parents, Billy Jim and Rebecca Keats; and siblings: Joseph,
Charles, David, Jesse Sutton and Bertha Jane (Doll) Hopkins. Dear
mother of Calvin and wife Maureen, Lorraine and husband Frazer George,
Becky and husband Don Lambert, Mary and husband Wayne Reynolds, Dianne
and husband Cal Blundon, and Levi Jr. and wife Wendy. Beloved
grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great,
great grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn sisters, Ester Norris and
Lizzie (husband Sterling) Hopkins; sisters in law: Gladys Norris,
Pearl White and Rita Norris; brother in law, Abe Hopkins; as well as a
large circle of nieces and nephews, including special nephew Ted
Hopkins, and other extended family and friends. A special thank you
and acknowledgement to Annie’s friends and the wonderful staff at
Baccalieu Retirement Living, Old Perlican, where she resided for the
last eight years. You made each day brighter. Cremation has taken
place. Visitation at Hopkins’ Funeral Home, Old Perlican, on Saturday,
November 17, 2018, 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm., 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and
7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, November
18, 2018 at 2:00 pm. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an
expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may
be made in Annie’s memory to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de
Verde.
