LAKE, Anne Jane age 72 years of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on July 25, 2018 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born December 12, 1945 in Solihull, Birmingham, England she was a daughter of the late James & Pearl (Smith) Henderson. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 settling in Woodstock, Ontario. Jane married her husband Doug in London, Ontario, after retiring they moved to Dartmouth. Jane worked hard all her life and always helped others, especially family. She had many jobs throughout the years, in factories, restaurants, even managing two of her own, finally she worked 20 years for Community Living Centres, assisting those with post mental illnesses, this was a career she truly loved, especially her clients and always put their needs first. She is survived by husband, Doug, daughters Annette, Dartmouth, Patricia, Woodstock ON, son James, Toronto, a sister Harriet, grandchildren, Krista, Amanda, Jamie all Dartmouth, Michael and Tina, Woodstock, ON, great grandchildren, Jeanie, Dannie, Zowie, Aimie and Cyprus. Niece Maureen and nephew, Teddy. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son Danny and a brother Jimmy.
