Anne Holt
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on January 20, 2018, in her 94th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Leonard. Loving mother of Fran (Bruce), Lori (Tom), and Cindy (Sam). Devoted Gammie of Erin (Mark), Ashley (Kevin), Melissa (Jeff), Meghan, Cathy, and Great-Gammie of Logan, Isla, Dylan and Thomas. After raising her children, Anne returned to school and graduated from the Quo Vadis School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She furthered her career by earning her Bachelor of Arts degree and later became a secondary school teacher in Etobicoke until her retirement. The family wishes to thank all of the staff of Parkland on the Glen and all of the personal support workers at Care Partners for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24th at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, 905 257 8822, from 10-11 am with a funeral to follow in the chapel at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to a charity of your choice.
