It is with fond memories and joy to remember the amazing life that Anne Dmytruk lived. Anne passed away at the age of 80 on Friday December 14th at the Kirkland Lake hospital in the presence of her family; Tara, Lori, Bob and Kelly. Anne was predeceased by her sister Irene (Edward) Zaleski, brothers Joe (Katy) and Walter (Helen) Dmytruk, niece Karen (Bob) Pinkerton, cousins Helen (Claude) Bouchard, Walter Hulock, Irene (Frank) Horsford, and her parents Wasyl and Mary Dmytruk. She is survived by an extensive family whom she loved and connected with every chance she could. Nieces: Tara (Dan) Diggins, Lori (David) Rogers, Debbie (Maurice) Lirette, Jocelyn (Archie) Stewart. Nephews: Michael Dmytruk, Ford (Maureen) Dmytruk, Dale (Mary) Dmytruk and Jayson Zaleski. Great nieces and nephews: Shawna Pinkerton, Tammy (Phil) Cormier, Karrie Anne Dmytruk,Terrie Lynn Jibb, Chaya and Jacob Diggins, Emma, Eli and Esme Rogers, Andrea (Steven) Clarke, Lisa (Kevin) Chaves, Theresa (Chris) Mcisaac, Daniel (Lynn) Lirette, Nicole (Brett) Andrews, Zoey and Jordi Chaves, Layla, Taylor and Ainsley Clarke, Abigail and Tyler Mcisaac, Camdyn and Eliza Andrews, Matthew and Paige Cormier. Second cousins: Susan (Pete) Beauchamp, Tania Mordaunt and Fran Linton.
Anne was born in Porquis Junction, grew up in Dane and became a very proud Kirkland Lake citizen for the rest of her life. Her friends will remember her as a fine chef, avid gardener, hostess, advocate for workers rights, and for her countless gifts of warm sweaters, afghans and wool socks. Anne touched the lives of so many.
