OBITUARY
Anna Szybunka
2 April , 1930 – 3 May , 2018
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Anna Szybunka announce her peaceful passing at the age of 88 in Mayerthorpe, Ab, on May 3, 2018.
Anna was born on April 2, 1930 in Rochfort Bridge, Alberta. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Stan) Petersen, granddaughter, Naidene Petersen, grandson, Michael (Sherry), great grandsons, Travis, Logan and Mathew Petersen, her son, Don (Lena) Szybunka, granddaughter, Rhonda Szybunka, great granddaughter, Katlyn Szybunka, great grandson, Adam Szybunka, grandson, Donald (Nadine), great granddaughter, Rayden Szybunka, great grandson, Lane Szybunka, her son, Len (Alice) Szybunka, granddaughter, Crystal Szybunka, grandson, Neil Szybunka. Anna will be forever remembered for her hard, dedicated work, love and support of family, being a good neighbor and her unending willingness to volunteer and lend a caring hand to many.
Anna is survived by her brothers, Peter (Lorraine), Jim, Nick (Fay) Trynchy and sisters-in-law; Stephie Trynchy, Mary Maygard, Mary Szybunka , Emily Szybunka as well as many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
Anna was predeceased by her husband Mike of 41 years, in 1988, her parents, Peter and Anna Trynchy, grandson Klayten Szybunka, brothers Bill (Helen), Joe (Ann), Steve Trynchy and brothers in law; John (Sophie), Andrew, Steve (Mary) and William Szybunka.
We wish to thank the staff at Pleasant View Lodge and the Mayerthorpe Auxiliary for their compassion and caring of Anna.
Respecting Anna’s wishes a private service with internment in Coyote Cemetery will occur.
If desired and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coyote Cemetery
