MRS. ANNA-LISA LUNDE
Of Sprucedale
Peacefully at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Sunday August 26, 2018. Anna-Lisa Lunde, beloved wife of the late Hermann Lunde, was in her 93rd year.
She is survived by her four daughters and two sons: Helga (Mike Tribbeck), Wilfried (Aileen), Vera, Peter (Raquel), Marianne (Stephen Williams), Jennifer Weir.
Grandchildren: Linda Knapp, Lori Compton, Robert Griffith, Anita Parson, Andrew, Matthew, Alex and Adam Lunde, Ryan Williams, Jordan, Julian, Jasmin and Justin Weir.
Hermann and Anna-Lisa also leave behind 13 great grandchildren who mourn their passing, not including the many unofficially adopted children and grandchildren that have called her Mom/Oma over the years.
Anna-Lisa was an avid gardener, birdwatcher, singer, dancer and a person of faith. She will always be remembered for the joy and love she brought into the lives of the people she met.
The family will receive visitors at the Faith Chapel, 63 Henry Street in Sprucedale on Thursday August 30, 2018 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. A service to celebrate Anna-Lisa’s life will follow in the church commencing at 11:00 with Reverend Nina Fulford officiating.
Interment in the Sprucedale Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Sprucedale United Church, the Faith Chapel the CNIB or the planting of a flower in a public garden in Anna-Lisa’s memory would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls.
