The Patterson family are sad to announce the passing of our mother, Ann Patterson (O’Garr) on August 16th, 2018. She passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital in the presence of her family after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Oldham England to Gladys and Tom O’Garr March 16th, 1942 and moved to Hamilton, ON in 1951. Faithful wife to Larry married on September 16th, 1972. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry children Wendy, Kimberly, Stephanie and Colleen, grandchildren Eva, Allaina, Shalynn, Jackson and Matthew and great-granddaughter Roghyn. Ann was an avid reader and loved nothing more than to curl up with a good book and a cup of Tetley tea with her dog Chester by her side. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Jospeh’s Health Centre in Toronto as well as the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service for Ann Patterson will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Northern Cancer Fund would be greatly appreciated through, www.healthsciencesfoundation.ca/article/northern-cancer-fund-3.asp
