April 30, 1967 – April 30, 2018
Known as Ann, Annie or Annabelle. Ann passed away on her 51st birthday from pancreatic cancer. Her partner Greg Gray and their three children Amelia, Charlotte and James were by her side. She is survived by her mum Linda, sisters Alice and Amy and stepson Jarvis.
Ann grew up in Vancouver and graduated from Prince of Wales High School in 1985. She went on to UBC, spending summers as a sub-lieutenant in the Canadian Naval Reserve out of Halifax. In 1989 she graduated from UBC with a degree in Microbiology. In 1990 she moved to the Sunshine Coast and spent summers on Gambier Island with her family.
She will be remembered for her involvement in the Egmont and Pender Harbour communities, her big smile, and the cards and jam she gave with love.
Her family would like to thank everyone in Ann’s life for the outpouring of love and support during this time.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sunshine Coast Hospice Society would be greatly appreciated.
A potluck celebration of life will be held at the Egmont Community Hall on Saturday, June 9 at 2pm. Bring your happy memories.
