Angenita “Anita” JAHN
May 24, 1934 – January 17, 2018
Anita Jahn passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 17, 2018 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She was born in Canwood, Saskatchewan on May 24, 1934 and was the oldest of six children born to John and Mary Redekopp. Anita attended Prince Albert Collegiate Institute and it was there that she met Warren Jahn. Anita married Warren in 1956, and they went on to raise two sons and operate a family business until retirement. Anita was not a person who would attract attention to herself. She dedicated herself to her husband and sons, other family members, and to the business. She was a source of strength with a kind heart and led others by her example. Anita will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Warren; son Gordon (Sonya) and their children Melissa (Brent Hoiness) and Carson; son Patrick (Arlene) and children Justin (Melissa) and Graeme (Kayla); great-grandchildren Oakley and Gavin; sister Peggy (Bill Tkachuk); brothers Tom (Helen), Ted (Diana), Bill (Carole) and Bob (Shelley); sisters in law Dorothy Law and Pearl Jahn, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Anita was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Redekopp, and in-laws Ed Jahn, Al and Ruth Bateman and Don Law. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel with Reverand Dennis Serfas officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
