Anita Hewitt (née Bechard)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anita Hewitt on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the age of 79. Reunited with Ronald Hewitt (1984). Loving mother to John (Nancy), Ronita Jechalke (Ron) and Paul. Caring mémé to Erin Gabourie (Mark), Krysta (Ian), Jocelynn and Peyton Jechalke. Great grandmother to Emberly and Amelia Burns. Daughter of the late Phillipe and Edna Bechard. Reunited with her brothers Reginald and Louis. Survived by her brother Roland Bechard of Chatham. Visitation will be held at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame Street, Belle River on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm with Parish prayers at 4pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Simon and St. Jude Parish, 488 St. Charles Street, Belle River for 11 am. Burial at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor and Es County Inc. would be appreciated by the family.
