In Memory of Anita
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Anita Lorraine (Babineau) Bourque, at the age of 71, of Moncton on January 10th, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of late Gerald and Cecilia (Leblanc) Babineau.
She will be dearly missed by husband Ronald Bourque of 51 years; son Paul (Audra) Bourque; daughter Allison (Andrew) MacIntyre; grandchildren: Brandon, Cameron, Sydney and Jessica; step great grandson: Corey. As well, she will be missed by her extended family of sister and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews; her many friends and her beloved pets Shema and Nasty Cat.
She was predeceased by her son Gary, sister Katherine Fletcher, niece Marsha Cook and sister-in-law Catherine Sears.
Anita will be remembered as a strong caring women. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for bowling; bowling up to 5 times a week. She loved to work in her many flower gardens. She enjoyed spending time at their camp and having company come for visits. Her love of cooking was known to all with her specialties being her homemade bread, seafood chowder and pistachio squares.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fairhaven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, NB (506-852-3530) where an Afternoon of Remembrance will be celebrated from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday January 14th, 2018. All are invited to come and share stories about Anita.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anita can be made to Harmony Place (www.harmonyplace.on.ca) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
