PITTS, Anastasia Nellie
Peacefully with her daughter at Kentwood Park on Tuesday December 25, 2018, Nellie Pitts passed away at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her husband Frank and much loved mother of Fran (late Bill) Renoy of Picton, Maggie (late Bob) Creighton of Brighton and Shannon Moulton and Michael (Sue) Pitts, all of Kingston. Loving grandmother of Daniel (Donna), Ann-Marie (Jason), Mark, Jeffrey and Andrew, great grandmother of Emma, Audrey, Kai, Whitney and Austin and greatgreat grandmother of Zinnia and Ryker. Dear sister of John, Mary, Stella, Michael, Peter, Stephen, Jessie, Bill, Harry, Nicholas, Kathleen and Jenny.
Mrs. Pitts rested at the Hicks Funeral Home, 2 Centre Street, Picton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Gregory The Great Roman Catholic Church on Thursday January 3, 2019 at 11 am. The Reverend Father Robert Chisholm officiating. Spring interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery.
Following the service, friends are welcome to join the family in sharing memories of Nellie’s life at the Wellings of Picton (320 Main St. – beside HJ McFarland Home).
Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Loyalist Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
