Alma Green
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, auntie, friend and bingo partner Alma Green. She passed away on May 5th at the age of 77 in the presence of her loving family.
She is predeceased by her common law husband Cecil McKay whom she loved dearly, also her sister Violet, brother William George AKA John, Grandchildren Roddy Jr, Aaron, Rodney, her great grand son Lewis and her son in law Arnold AKA Neetee. She leaves to mourn, her daughters Shirley and Imelda (Roddy), grandchildren Howard (Claudia), Blanche (Mitchell), Jolene, Charlene (Kirk), Tyler (Ashling) Sherlyn (Randall) Errol, and step daughter Theresa McKay, also her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren she got to hold.
She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she enjoyed teasing. Granny enjoyed her Timmies coffee with her cigarettes and really enjoyed bingo at the Freight House. She was a very kind loving mother who shared many stories with her daughters. She always had a huge smile for her great grandchildren when she seen them. She liked watching her soap operas especially All my Children also her favorite game shows The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. She loved watching movies and her favorite Home Alone in which she called “Little Home Alone”. She also enjoyed teaching her grandchildren their language. She will be greatly missed by everyone that she came into contact with.
She spent over 20 years in Winnipeg in which she helped raise her grandchildren while they attended school.
Pall bearers will be Howard, Randall, Tyler, Kirk, Mitchell, Errol and Larry.
We graciously thank the Health Sciences Center for keeping her comfy through her time there.

A great grandmother to Malcolm, Brenda, Suzie, Cole, Darien, Sparrow, Chase, Mitchell, Domenis, Maya, Serenity, Honor, Filly, Sajan, and Chance and Ozzie, Arianna, Izadina, Theodore, Cruz. A grandmother to Howard, Blanche, Jolene, Charlene, Sherlyn, Tyler and Errol.
Wake services will be held on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. (at McPhillips St.) from 7p.m. till 11p.m. Wake service will continue Wednesday May 9, 2018 and Thursday May 10,2018 at Bloodvein Community Hall. Funeral service will follow on Friday May 11, 2018 at 1p.m., also at the community hall.
Interment Bloodvein First Nation.
