It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved partner, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Allen passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Allen was predeceased by his son Mark and his mother Ruby Hatcher, parents Annie and Allan, sister Mary Moores, brother Jack, brothers-in-law Leonard O’Neill and Cecil Druken. He leaves to mourn his best friend and soul mate Patsy Curtis, his beloved children Valerie, Brian (Michelle), Randy and Corey; his grandchildren: Adam, Victoria and her dad Rick, Ashley, Allison, Alanna, Alexander, Sam and David as well as many beloved great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn his sisters Alice, Ellen, Rita (Bren), Lillian (Steve) and Shirley (Frank); his brothers: Fred (Beth), Gordon (Lorraine), Edward (Aurea), a large number of nieces and nephews, Patsy’s children Debbie, Judy Ann and Cliff and Patsy’s siblings. Cremation has taken place as per Allen’s request and there will be no visitation. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
