Allan “Ross” Bulmer
March 21, 1926 – June 30, 2018
Ross played his last set on June 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Health Sciences North.
Raised in Milden, Saskatchewan Ross moved to Sudbury, Ontario and began his career at INCO which lasted 35 years. Along with his adoring wife Doris and best friend of 65 years, they raised four children in Garson before retiring at age 55. Gail Blanchard (Allan, Robert and Melissa) of Sudbury. Roz Garrett (Kellsy and Francis Leonard) of Sudbury. Merlin Bulmer (Susan, Alex (Kayla Woss, Regin Woss and Aubree of Thunder Bay) Donovan and Garrette) of Red Rock. Maralyn Randall (Cliff #1) of Stouffville, Ontario.
Dad always made us laugh with his quick wit and dry sense of humour. He had a genuine smile a kind heart and always enjoyed chatting with everyone and anyone. His love of country music and entertaining people with his wonderful voice, while playing his beloved Martin guitar, was his greatest passion. Ross spent his retirement years camping and playing music for others at many camp grounds and Legions within the Sudbury area.
Thank you for always being there when we needed you most and for all the wonderful memories, you will be truly missed. You were the BEST Dad anyone could ask for. With great love, your wife and kids.
A celebration of Ross’s life will be held at the Minnow Lake Legion – Branch 76 on September 14th, 2018 details to follow.
