Alicia Rebecca Ouellette
1983-2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the
unexpected passing of Alicia Rebecca Ouellette (nee Thorne) of
Salisbury, NB on January 6, 2018. Alicia was born in Saint
John, NB on July 9, 1983 and is the youngest daughter of John and Jo
Ann Thorne of Salisbury.
Alicia leaves behind her husband Collin, her
cherished children; Paris, Tavien and Cruz. Sisters, Tina
Matatall (Dwayne), Sparwood, BC; Angela Thornton (Scott), Salisbury;
Brother, Tyson Thorne (Lynne), Calgary. Uncles, Bob Milne
(Glenda), Rothesay; Art Milne (Claire), Upper Golden Grove and aunt,
Sandi Black (Bill), Red Deer, AB along with several nieces and
cousins. Also survived by in laws Gloria and Bill Henry;
sister in law, Krystal Ouellette; brother in laws, Clinton Neudorf
(Veronica); and Devin Henry (Crystal).
Alicia attended school in Tumbler Ridge, BC and
graduated from Spruce Grove Composite High School in
Alberta. She attended SAIT, Calgary and graduated in
Edmonton as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Alicia was currently
studying her RN through Athabasca Distance Learning in
Alberta.
Alicia loved spending time with family and
friends. She enjoyed going on trips, playing baseball,
swimming, golfing, skiing, and having new adventures with her
family. Her wonderful laughter and zest for life brought a
smile to all who knew her. Alicia’s children meant the world
to her. She treasured every moment she had with
them. Alicia will be forever in our hearts.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route
106 (372-4800), where visitation will be held Thursday, January 11
from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and from where a funeral service will be held
Friday at 11:00am, with Pastor Lloyd O’Blenes
officiating.
Memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
