Alice Patricia Fudge
FUDGE, Alice Patricia
Age 93, of Hammonds Plains, passed away peacefully in Ivany Place with her loving family close by on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Alice was a daughter of the late Mary and Joseph Woods and at the age of 3 they moved to Quebec City where she spent the next 20 years. It was there she met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Fudge; they were married on September, 1947 and together had 5 beautiful children who became the centre of her universe. Alice will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Angie, Antigonish, Robert (Heather), Stephen (Michelle), Derek (Patti) all of Hammonds Plains; cherished grandchildren, Karie Anne, Michelle, Tara, Mike, Richie, Heidi, Bobbi Jo, Jason, Ryan, Chad, April, and Chris; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren with one more on the way; dear siblings, Joey, Agnes, Rita, Billy, Charlie, Leo, and Monica; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her daughter Peggy; siblings, Barney, Jimmy, and Betty; son-in-law John Connors. A special thank you to the staff and wonderful neighbours of Ivany Place for their exceptional care and compassion. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 5 at 10 a.m. in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys, 18 Scholars Rd. Upper Tantallon with a reception to follow in the church hall. The interment will take place at a later date in the spring in St. James Cemetery, Hammonds Plains. Family flowers only please. In memory of Alice, an act of kindness would be greatly appreciated.
