Alice Pember (Pellow)
PEMBER, Alice M. – Peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock on Wednesday June 6, 2018 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late L. Joseph “Joe” Pember Sr. (2002). Dear mother of late Joe Pember Jr. (Bonnie Guthrie), Heather Pember (Duncan Gilman) and Jay Pember and his wife Kathy. Loved grandmother of Andrew Pember, Josh Pember, Cory Bancroft, Jamie (Chantelle) Bancroft, Devon Quackenbush, Vanessa (Matt) McConnell, Tawney McConnell, Chris Hazen, Dean Swartz, Ashley Swartz, Kirby Quackenbush, Taija Quackenbush, Chad Quackenbush and great grandmother to Brayden, Sophia and Christian. Dear sister of Shirley (Gary) Skillings, Yvonne (Mike) Weiler, Ernie Pellow and sister-in-law to Darlene Pellow. Alice is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law of the Pember family, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings; Jim, John and Joanne. Alice was a graduate from the Woodstock General Hospital School of Nursing. After working with Woodstock General Hospital for over 28 years, she became a paramedic and a flight nurse. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday June 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Hillview Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Woodstock Hospital Cardiac/Stroke Diagnostic Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
