Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2018, Alica Lorrita “Alice” (nee Herter) in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Colin MacEachern (2017). Loving mother of Brenda Lee Swanney (Steven), Sandy Goodlet (John), Deanna Carless (Stuart) and Daphne Sampson (Peter). Cherished grandmother of Tyler, Wyatt (Caron), Jake, Austin, Kiran, Madison and Katelyn. Dearly missed by her sister Fran Flesaker, and family. Mom is predeceased by her father & mother, Herb & Alma Herter, and her two sisters, Lilly Willoughby, and Gladys Stavn. Alice is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews in Hamilton, Manitoba, British Columbia, California, and New Brunswick. She will be sadly missed by close friends Carol and Richard Redford.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – « William J. Markey Chapel », 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Monday, October 1st from 3-5, and 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Alica’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 2nd at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to be made to the Mountainview Christian Church, 118 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton, L9A 2S3 (General Fund) would be appreciated.
