Alcide Wilfred Perrier 1923 – 2018 (WWII Veteran)
Alcide Perrier passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on December 6, 2018 at the Kirkland & District Hospital. ‘Sid’ was the loving husband of the late Marie (née Morin) and father to Lise (Terry) Hill and George (DeLinda). Grandfather to Adam (Heather), Jean-Paul (Angele), Lee-Anne (Philippe) and Andrew (Susan). Great-Grandfather to Darian, Lila, Donald Joseph, Sophia, Audrey and Ryan. Sid will be sadly missed by his siblings Edna (late Marcel), Armand (Mary), Marguerite (Ted) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Anicete, Joe, Patrick, Renay, Lena and Doreen. Sid was a member of the Canadian Scottish Regiment from 1944-1946 and served our country in the Second World War. He had a passion for fishing and hunting.
Cremation has taken place. Private family service will be planned for a later date.
