Albert Joseph Edmond Casavant
September 20, 1947 – April 24 2018
Sadly, Albert lost his swift but brave battle with cancer at the age of 70. He was surrounded by loved ones during his intense fight, before passing away peacefully. Albert loved his family and valued hard work and well-deserved play. He loved to share a laugh and enjoyed playing pool, golfing and fishing. Albert will be greatly missed by his surviving family members, including his wife Marjorie, his two sons, Sean and Robert (Cara), his brothers Raymond (Pauline) and Edmond, sisters Bernadette and Rachel, grandchildren Chase, Paige, Joshua and Alicia and many nieces and nephews. Albert is predeceased by his parents Jeanne and O’Neill, his sister Evelyn and stepson Cassell.
A Memorial Service will be held at Choice Memorial (105 – 4715 13th Street NE) on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm, followed by a reception at Albert and Marjorie’s home in Okotoks. In lieu of flowers, it was Albert’s wish that a donation be made in his memory to Okotoks Pound Rescue (poundrescue.com).
