It is with great sadness that we announce Akeung Lum has peacefully passed away at home on February 21st, 2018 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia (nee Choy) of 56 years; sisters Shue Quan Lum, Yuk King Lum and brother Shue Ping Lum; daughters Ingrid (Martin), Vivienne (Patrick), Helen (Jason), Chris (Rick) and June (Sean); grandchildren Wesley, Ashley, Isabelle, Austin, Alex and Charley; cousins Elaine, Thomas, Irene, Kelvin, William, Michael, Linda and Roger. Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville) on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Glen Oaks Chapel on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Dialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be made at www.glenoaks.ca
