Agnes Leonard (Carter)
At the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Agnes Susan Leonard (nee Carter) of Alexandria; age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Alfred Leonard (2015). Dear daughter of the late Charles and Alexina Carter (nee McDowell). Agnes will be missed by her siblings; many nieces and nephews; her dear friends Kitty and Jeanette; and her caregivers for the last 2.5 years, Donna and Grant. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Memorial Graveside Service will be held in the National Field of Honour Cemetery, Pointe Claire, Quebec on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1 pm. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Agnes a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
