Obituary of Adam Clarry
With heavy hearts, our dear Adam was taken before his time at the young age of 35, on Sunday October 14, 2018. After a brief but courageous battle with brain cancer, he passed suddenly at home with his family by his side. Loving husband of Lauryn, and proud Daddy to Oliver. Devoted son of Jim and Joanne Clarry, loving brother to Brenda (Drew) Oortwyn, and proud Uncle to Casey and Jack Oortwyn. He will be sadly missed by Bruce and Evelyn, Rob (Corin) and Toril (Stuart Young) Collingwood, Jeff (Jocelynn) Maund, the Clarry and Collingwood families. He cherished all of his friendships and his work family at AtlasCare.
Adam was passionate about his many hobbies: cars, fishing, photography, golf, baseball (Milton’s Inglorious Batters) and his Muskie Boutique business. He was one in a million, all who met him loved him.
Adam’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 4, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m. at HARBOUR BANQUET CENTRE, 2340 Ontario St., Oakville, Ontario. A special tribute is planned for around 2:15 p.m.
The family extends their thanks to the nurses and staff at Milton District Hospital, Toronto Western and Princess Margaret Hospitals for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Princess Margaret Hospital, Gerry and Nancy Pencer Brain Trust would be appreciated.
Lauryn has created an email address to which the family request you send photos and memories of Adam, which will be compiled into a website for Oliver to remember his dad. Please send your contributions to adam.clarry.memories@gmail.com
