Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on December 25th, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Maureen, his wife of 61 years. Loving father to Dian Maureen (Bob), Kathy Louise, Shane Robert, Proud Gramps to Anthony Robert, Amanda Maureen, Sean Michael (Alisa), Jeff, Kristi, and Great-Gramps to Cameron Dian, and Tyler Jane. Bob will be dearly missed by all of his extended family and friends. Bob was a longtime member of Cedar Lodge Masonic Hall and Royal Canadian Legion 647. Resting at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) with Visitation on Tuesday, January 1st from 2 – 4 p.m. with a Service in the Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
