OBITUARY
Stephanie Marie Williamson
September 7, 1930 – December 22, 2018
With broken hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved Mum and Nana. Stephanie passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of December 22, 2018. Left to mourn and miss her are her devoted and much-loved partner Eugenio Martins, who looked after her so lovingly throughout her illness; her three children: Andrew (Janet), Janice (Robert) and Ray (Diana); five grandsons: Chris (Kelsey), Scott (Thalina), Jeffrey (Christie), Kyle (Alicia) and Shane (Nichole); and seven great grandchildren: Jordyn, Blair, Evan, Abby, Ethan, Nolan and Paisley. She will also be dearly missed by her sister-in-law, Jenny McKenna and her long-time friend Maureen Hill. Stephanie was born in London, England and had a difficult childhood, but she rose above those experiences to become a kind and loving mother, partner and friend. Although she left England many years ago, London never left her heart – she always considered herself a ‘Londoner’. Stephanie worked as a legal secretary for many years, eventually becoming a Notary Public – a job at which she excelled. She truly cared about her clients and always went the extra mile for them. Stephanie loved to sing and dance and was even known to tickle the ivories anytime she could find an unattended piano. Dementia robbed Stephanie of her memories and her independence, but it could not take away her smile, her laughter, and her great big heart. She loved Eugenio and her family deeply and we loved her right back. We will miss her so. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Lynn Valley Care Centre who looked after her in her final months. A memorial service will be held on January 4, 2019 at 2 pm, Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver.
