Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by his family, Calogero passed away at the age of 84. Beloved husband to Vincenza Agro (nee Campanella) of 61 years. Will be greatly missed by his siblings the late Filippo Agro (late Angela and late Teresa), the late Carmelo Agro (Marie), Carmela Sardo (Guiseppe), Concetta Di Fiore (the late Alfonso), the late Raymond Agro (Pat) and Josephine Stoddart (John). Predeceased by his parents Bernardo and Rosa Agro and his in-laws Vincenzo and Carmela Campanella. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Calogero enjoyed gardening, playing Bocci at Eastdale Park with many neighborhood friends, and enjoyed his “Vino”, with family and friends always laughing and singing. Special thank you to the Emergency and ICU staff at the Hamilton General Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – « William J. Markey Chapel », 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Wednesday from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Vigil Prayers at 2:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:30 am. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington.For those who wish, memorial donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
