February 5, 1955 – December 7, 2018
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Jimmy on December 7, 2018. He was born in Armstrong, BC on February 5, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of the Armstrong area. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, two sons Ben of Vernon and Jonathan (Falyn) of Winnipeg, two brothers David (Mary) of Vernon and Alvin (Carol) of Vancouver as well as his grandchildren Damon and Nolan. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents: John and Mary Gowliuk.
Jimmy worked at the mill in Armstrong until early retirement and he missed playing crib with his colleagues at the mill. He enjoyed playing golf with his boys and he was active as a Jehovah’s Witness. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Vernon on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00pm.
