Scaglione, Yolanda June 11th, 1935 – December 8th, 2018.
Surrounded by her loving children, Yolanda died peacefully at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario at the age of 83. Yolanda is now reunited with her beloved husband the late Luigi Scaglione (1997). Predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Rosina Celebre; parents-in-law Antonio and Marietta Scaglione, and relatives Filomena and Umberto Cesario, Manina and Pietro Tarsitano, Dora and Belfido Felice and Santo Scarfone.
Left to mourn are her children, Maria and Pat Sergi, Hamilton; Silvana and Carlo Amantea, Sutton; and Anthony and Helen Scaglione, Welland.
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Julia Idzik (Teddy), Christopher Sergi, Olivia Shaw (James), Jessica Sergi, Louis Scaglione and Phillip Scaglione. Cherished as a Nonna by her great-grandchildren; Max and Faith Idzik and Rosie Shaw.
Dear sister of Mario Celebre (Carmela), Antonio Celebre (Pina), Luigi Celebre, Alfredo Celebre (Anna), Giuseppe Celebre (Saverina) and Melinda Scarfone.
Remembered by many nieces and nephews and cousins around the world.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton (905 574-0405). Visitation on Wednesday, December 12th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 1694 Upper James St. Hamilton on Thursday, December 13 at 10:00 am. Followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd., Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Juravinski Hospital and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
