Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Francesca Zygmunt. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Francesca was born in Paese, Treviso, Italy.
She will be reunited with her beloved husband Walter (1985). She was a loving and devoted mother to Lidia (Vince) and Diana. Cherished nonna to adored grandsons Manuel (partner Jenn), Jeff (Ram). Bisnonna to Natalia, Nico and Sofie.
Francesca and Walter married in 1946 and then moved to Argentina. After eleven years they immigrated to Canada with their two daughters and began a new life in 1958. Like all immigrants the first years were challenging.
Francesca was a woman of great faith and courage. She was a member of Mount Carmel Society and Over Fifty Club. She loved gardening and had a beautiful vegetable and flower garden. Special thanks to all the caregivers at Villa Carital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. Private Entombment will follow at the Grand Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, B.C.
