Robert Ellis Coles passed away on November 26, 2018 at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Linda and children Christine, Dave, Phoenix, Mel, Cypris, Jordis, Jonathon, Jessica, Andrew, Jeven, Sawyer, Keri, Jim, Taylor, Trevor, Sawyer, Tricia and Josh. Bob was also loved by numerous friends and relatives.
Bob was born in Simcoe, Ontario on March 17, 1946 to parents Henry Coles and Edith (Albert) Coles as an only child. He was very active in all sports in school and went on to graduate from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1967. Bob practiced in Ontario for a short time until moving to Alberta and opening numerous office locations until his retirement in January 2017.
Bob loved camping at Riverbend, travelling to Hawaii and Disneyland, The Calgary Stampede, The Calgary Flames, Corvettes, fixing cars, fishing, snake skinned cowboy boots and the rodeo, especially in Las Vegas.
