Katica Islic
July 1, 1946 – November 20, 2018
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Katica in Croatia on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Stjepan for 52 years.
Predeceased by her parents Stjepan and Ana Golub. Loving mother of Miljenko, Snjezana (Scott) and Mladen. Cherished grandmother of Julian, Martin, Cynthia. Dear sister of Rozica Zivko (predeceased Bozidar), her niece Sanja and family, first cousin Stefica Lisak and family, brother-in-law Ivan Islic and family. Katica will be sadly missed by Bernarda Islic, loving Kumovi and extended family both in Canada and Croatia.
Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton, on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with vigil prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 9am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady Of The Angels Mausoleum.
