Elizabeth Kendall
Passed away peacefully with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer on November 23, 2018 at the age of 68. Cherished wife of the late Alan. Loving mother of Nancy (Robert) Roznawski and the late Jim. Treasured Grandma of Ava and Lukas. Daughter of the late Violet and William McIvor. Predeceased by siblings Bill McIvor and John McIvor (Wendy). Will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and family both in Windsor and England.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her good will, kindness and generosity. Those who knew her best will miss her witty down to earth personality. Liz was a retired teacher of GECDSB and made many great friends during her career. Upon her retirement she enjoyed travelling throughout the world with her friends and family and was fortunate enough to create cherished memories this past year with her grandchildren by visiting family and friends in England and France. Elizabeth enjoyed socializing with friends of various groups including the parish community of St. George’s Anglican Church, friends at the Salvation Army and her yoga lunch group. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or Downtown Mission would be appreciated. Cremation was held. Visitation Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service Thursday 11:30 a.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
