Harold’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Brake announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, November 16, 2018 in his 75th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Shirley of 52 years; his three children: Sean, Diane (Ron Ryan), and Larry (Tracey); his six grandchildren: Julia, Nicholas, James, Aaron, Anna, and Claire; his brothers: Pat and Larry; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Harold was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret (Doucette); and his brothers: Howard, Bernard, Fraser, Maurice, and Peter. At Harold’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, November 19, 2018 from the hours of 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at The Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish, 15 Mount Bernard Avenue on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Fund.
