OBITUARY
Peter Andrew Ertl
January 8, 1942 – November 14, 2018
Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the age of 76.
Beloved and loving husband of 53 years to Patricia (Ilchene). Son to the late Mary and Anton Ertl, brother to the late Frank Ertl. Loving father to Matt (Allison), Theresa (Dave), Peter J. (Amanda), Mary-Anne (John) and David (predeceased 1991). Devoted and loving Grandpa to David, Josh, Courtney, Cassandra, Matthew, Emma, Sophie and Russell. Special Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Chris (Bill), Irene (Jim) and Johnny. Special hunting buddy to Larry.
Pete was a mechanical millwright at Dofasco for 27 years. He was known as “Mr. Fix-it” to the neighbourhood. He will be sadly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Wednesday, November 21st from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Prayers at the funeral home at 7:45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 10:00 am.
